Event 2025 - Presentation AND tasting

This event will take place on 13 November at Santander Work Café, Market Hall, Douglas. Doors open 5:30pm for a 5:45pm start

The first part of the event will be an update of what's been happening at the distillery. This will be followed by a presentation about the intricacies of distillation. This will take about 30 minutes.

Following the presentation we will have a tasting where we'll sample the following:

• Cask 9 - this is a refill bourbon cask so it shows the spirit with limited cask influence. This cask won a Gold medal in the young spirits category at World Whiskies Awards in 2024 and has not yet been released. Age - 3.7 years
• Bouramo - here we are showcasing our entry into World Whiskies Awards 2026. It is a marriage between whiskies drawn from a first fill bourbon cask, a refill bourbon/ale cask and an amontillado cask. Average age - 3.9 years
• Batch Four - this is your chance to taste our upcoming December release! A sherry-forward whisky made up from 2 different first fill Oloroso casks and a small fraction of first fill bourbon (1.7% of the total). Average age - 4.02 years
  
• Our award winning new make spirit!

The tasting costs £25, which includes one of our snazzy tasting glasses to take home.

We want to remind everyone that the spirits poured are cask strength so we strongly advice against driving after this tasting. We operate a Challenge 25 policy where we will request ID for anyone looking to be under 25 years of age.

The event will finish by 19:45.
