2026 is the Year of the Manx Language. In honour of this, we have named our fifth release Batch Queig. Drawn from three firkins, this whisky offers vanilla, figs, heather, lemon peel, papaya, pears and coconut on the nose and a long finish with light, lingering smoke. This whisky won a Gold medal at World Whiskies Awards 2026. Slaynt vie!
Barley: Planet, locally grown at Ballavell farm, 2020 and 2021 harvest.
Yeast: Lallemand DistilaMax MW, WHC Labs Bonds & Pinnacle M. Fresh and recycled
Distillation: 2x and 2.5x. Both the 100l and the 400l stills were used.
Cask: First-fill & refill Bourbon. First-fill Amontillado
Age at bottling: 4 years.
ABV: 54.9%
Number of bottles: 123
Non-chill filtered, natural colouring and bottled at cask strength.
Each bottle contains 50cl and costs £84.50.
