Doors open 5:30pm for a 5:45pm start\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe first part of the event will be an update of what's been happening at the distillery, followed by a presentation about the amazing world of yeast and fermentation and how this shapes the whisky you drink. This will take about 30 minutes.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFollowing the presentation we will have a tasting where we'll sample the following:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eCask 16\u003c\/strong\u003e - \u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003e\n\u003cspan\u003efirst-fill bourbon cask and one of the oldest examples of our spirit fermented with a portion of wild yeast. Plenty of coconut, vanilla and honey. Age - 3.4 years\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eOur 2027 World Whiskies Awards entry\u003c\/strong\u003e - \u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003e\n\u003cspan\u003ethis is a marriage between whiskies drawn from two refill bourbon casks and a Palo Cortado cask. Average age - 4.3 years\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eCask 17\u003c\/strong\u003e - a small first fill Oloroso firkin that shows surprising restraint\u003cspan\u003e. Oodles of caramel, toffee, mocha, vanilla and cream followed by peaches and fruit on the palate. Age - 3.4 years\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOur award winning and ever popular \u003cstrong\u003enew make spirit\u003c\/strong\u003e!\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe tasting costs £25, which includes one of our snazzy tasting glasses to take home.
